We’re back from Guatemala! It was a wonderful trip. Before we left, I wrote about an $1,800 Nikon lens that I rented for the trip for $210. It turns out the lens (70-200 F2.8) is spectacular. Here is the lens, and as promised, here are some of the pictures I took using the lens. Let me know what you think.
This is a picture of Lake Atitlan, which is surrounded by three volcanoes (clicking on the photo takes you to my Flickr account):

Hope you had a great time in Guatemala. I love it there and would like to go back. I’ve been there 3 times and spent 3 months there in 1997. It is a great place.

TF Miser, Guatemala was spectacular. The country is beautiful and the people were friendly. I’m sure we’ll go back in the next few years.
