I always say that the ATM machine gives the best odds of all the ‘slot’ machines in the casino. There was a report done a few years back that suggested that the smaller casinos away from the Vegas strip, where mostly locals go, offer much better odds of winning than the big name casinos on the strip.

The best way is not to bet but who are we kidding. Have a set amount you know you will gamble and stick to that. If you go in assuming you will lose it all, anything that’s leftover is considered a win.

I love Vegas, but I don’t gamble. As you say, there’s plenty to do anyway. Call me a winner.

Walking out a winner is getting a $8 cocktail for $1 dollar

I just play no limit texas holdem and play the player. Better odds for sure.

Hey, I have a system but it only works if you’re very disciplined. I have a “gambling money” pocket and a “winnings” pocket. When the “gambling money” pocket is empty, I quit. I’ve never failed to walk out with less than I went in with. On a few occasions, I more than doubled my money.

But I don’t really gamble that often. Maybe once every three or four years. Still … it’s never failed me.

I like your mom’s method better though!
