Ever since a basketball injury in college, I’ve had lower back problems. Sometimes it’s so bad I can’t walk for a week. It’s not that bad now, but it’s bad. If you have back problems, check out The Core Performance: The Revolutionary Workout Program to Transform Your Body & Your Life
. This book is excellent for strengthening your core muscles, and most of the exercises can be done at home. Unfortunately, I’ve not been doing my exercises (blogging instead), which is why my back is in sorry shape. When the pain subsides, I’ll be back (no pun intended) to doing the exercises in the book. So let’s get on with today’s links:
- Split Real Estate Markets: Which Homes Are Holding Up In Value? @ The Digerati Life: This is a great summary of the housing market, including a discussion of the impact of the subprime mess.
- Resources for Frugal Cooking @ BeingFrugal: I love food!
- 529 Plans for College Expenses: What’s Cool and What’s Quirky @ Wise Bread: Julie Rains over at Wise Bread does a great job of describing the ups and downs of 529 plans. By the way, Virginia has one of the best 529 plans around.
- 10 More Easy Ways to Look Unprofessional @ The Clever Dude: Keep the unibrow was my favorite. I wonder if Clever Dude works in my office.
- The Beauty of Organizing Your Money @ I’ve Paid Twice For This Already: I’m not great at organizing, but when it comes to money, organization is key.
The Dough Roller Retro: 1,000 Ideas for Remodeling Your Kitchen: I thought this would be a good blast from the past as Mrs. Dough and I are smack dab in the middle of a major kitchen remodel!
Enjoy!
