The Daily Dough (Heroes edition)

There has been a lot going on in personal finance this week and here are some great things to check out:
- Alternative Non-Renewable Income: Selling Your Stuff @ I’ve Paid For This Twice Already. I’ve got to make sure my wife reads this!
- Plato: The Philosopher King @ The Financial Philosopher. Maybe it’s because my degree is in philosophy, but the posts on this site about money and philosophy are always a joy to read.
- Young Money, the Personal Finance Magazine for College Students @ Get Rich Slowly. This magazine was new to me (probably because I no longer qualify as young), so I thought I’d pass it along.
- Money Saving Tip #9–Use Craigslist @ Gather Little By Little. If you haven’t used Craigslist, check out this post. I even use Craigslist to advertise houses for rent. Oh, and it’s free!
- The Dough Roller Retro: Inflations Bleak Prospects. . .in 1978. This is one of my favorites, and it underscores that we shouldn’t get too comfortable with low interest rates and modest inflation–things can always change.
In addition, there have been several great carnivals posted this week that included some of my articles. Here they are:
- Personal Finance hosted by KMull
- Family Life hosted by My Two Boys
- Stocks hosted by College Analysts
- Frugality hosted by Stop the Ride!
Enjoy!
