I came across this free E-book the other day and wanted to pass it on to you. It’s called Serous Money and is written by Richard Ferri. There are several things about this book that I like, including his recognition that individual investor returns usually fall short of the market’s performance (he explains why). He also points out that recent market returns (say the last 15 years) have spoiled us. We shouldn’t assume such performance will continue indefinitely. And he also stresses the importance and value of index mutual funds. I think this fee E-book is worth the read.

By the way, Ferri has also published two books that I’m familiar with, All About Index Funds (All About) and All About Asset Allocation. Both are worth reading.
