We added a teen driver this year and our rates with our small insurance company are quite high. I have done a lot of calling around and checking on the web and it appears that they are giving me the best rate, through Safeco which is supposedly rated A. I also received a quote by a broker for Safeco and it was higher probably because of the fees they are charging as a broker. Now, they couldn't touch what I've found on home owners elsewhere. And the person I spoke to said that auto insurance is really their specialty. I spoke with insurance.com yesterday.
