		<description>Timely post. I just got my car insurance bill in the mail today, and it&#039;s a bit larger than I remember. Time to shop around again. 

From your first point -being careful on the open road -the first point was the reason that I had my only car accident ever - not focused.  I was at a stoplight and the traffic started moving - and so did I.  I looked at my radio to change the station. I looked back up and traffic had stopped already!  I didn&#039;t have time to stop and I hit the jeep in front of me (at low speed).   The other car didn&#039;t have any damage, but my hood was crunched, and there was a hole in my bumper.  

Luckily I knew a cheap body work guy who gave me a new hood and patched my bumper for less than a thousand dollars - so I didn&#039;t claim the accident since it was just over my deductible anyway. Why see my rates go up?</description>
