There were multiple charges to dr, anest & hospital for a one time visit to the hospital, I was not able to pay all of them what they wanted so it went to collections very fast, I made a lump sum payment to the collection agency and have continued to do so for 2 years. Last month they reported me for being late with one of the items included on the amount I have been paying on and it was for 8 dollars. I think it is a crime to trash ones credit for medical bills that you can not afford to pay because you are sick. But when you try and do the right thing, you get nowhere fast. My revolving bills are paid on time every month have been for at least ten years, it has been the medical bills that hurt us. Can you advise me of anything I can do? I have already gone thru the dispute processes and waiting, i have called the collection agency without much help.
