Kiva Card Now Available to Non-Business Owners
A few months ago I wrote about the Kiva credit card by Advanta. The no annual fee Kiva card offers a 15-month zero percent balance transfer offer. The card has a limited 5% statement credit for charitable donations made with the card and other purchases. And Advanta matches loans you make with the card to Kiva, up to $200 per month. So the card represents a smart way to contribute to Kiva and impact small businesses throughout the world.
But the card had one drawback; it was only available to businesses. Advanta specializes in small business credit cards, so it was no surprise the Kiva card was limited to business owners. But the card proved so popular, that Advanta has now made the card available to non-business owners. Here are the details:

I should add that I applied for and obtained the Kiva BusinessCard. I’m currently taking advantage of the 15-month balance transfer offer and have received a lot of great information about Kiva.org.
