		<description>Why does the Fed have anything to do with credit card regulations? They&#039;re just a private entity.

Further, did you see anything in here addressing the practice of applying interest charges as new purchases (even when payments are made on time) and collecting a higher rate on them than for the balance transfer (at an enticing low rate) that is throwing them off? If there is anything deceptive, it is that!</description>

		<description>i have a credit card loan with chase. the orignial terms wERE @ a fixed rate with no service charge until balance is paid in full. this last statement i was charged a $10.00 service charge. the customer service i contacted was rude. is there nothing that can be done to stop this charge?</description>

		<description>This seems like a good bill for consumers, who are at the mercy of credit card issuers anyway. Why do credit card companies have the right to change terms whenever they like? They change the rules with impunity, and consumers&#039; only recourse is to change companies. Yeah, right, like we can change $3000 credit balances anytime we please. And now our government is giving these same credit providers billions of dollars of our money so they can write off their bad loans.</description>
