I never mind if I have no credit card. I had taken away my unwanted clutter at home and I live with in my means. I have children too you know and as little as they are I thought them that too much credit will be disastrous. I don't want to be like dads who murder their family for the sake of a way out from debt. My golly, we should be responsible.

We've noticed they're also raising interest rates on credit cards. One friend got a notice that if continued to use her card, her interest rate would go up dramatically. She opted to quit using it, and just pay it off at the old rate. After she told me, I went and checked my main card and discovered it had gone up also! Another good incentive to work to eliminate debt and keep bills paid off!

Your mention of 0% interest offers being reduced is correct. I have noticed a drastic reduction of the 0% offers I receive and the ones that I do get have a transfer fee of 1 to 3%. So check the fine print on any 0% offer you receive, it might not really be 1%.
