Some time ago Advanta offered several credit cards with 0% balance transfers for 15 months. As you may know, however, Advanta has closed its doors, and 15-month transfer offers are a thing of the past. At least that's what I thought. Now, HSBC is offering a 15 month balance transfer deal, but only in the UK. So if you are in the UK looking for a great 0% BT card, check out HSBC Bank Credit Card. My hope is that this is a trend that will make its way to the U.S.

You don't need to be a business owner to get this card. My daughter is a full-time college student with no income and she got this card by applying over the phone. When asked by a CSR if she owned a business she answered "no". In a week she received a new card with 12K credit limit!

dubious, very important question, and yes there is. Here's what the fee disclosure says, "3% of the amount of each transaction, but not less than $5.00 nor more than $99.00." So for 15 months at 0%, a max of $99 is reasonable. What you have to watch out for are the balance transfer fees that are unlimited. Thanks for asking the question, because we should ALWAYS check the balance transfer fees.
