The Citi Platinum Select MasterCard is one of Citibank’s premier credit cards. The card offers a 0% APR on both balance transfers and purchases for up to 15 months. This represents the longest 0% offer currently available from any credit card. The Platinum Select also comes with a low regular interest rate and no annual fee. With Citi, there is $0 liability for unauthorized charges, and you get access to Citi Extra Cash, an online shopping destination where you can get discounts on purchases from merchants like Macy’s and Staples.

The Citi Forward Card is one of the most innovative credit cards available. When many credit cards are raising rates, Citi Forward gives you the power to actually lower your rate. If you pay your credit card bill on time and stay under the credit limit for three consecutive months, Citi will lower your rate 0.25%. Continue to use the card responsibly, and you can see your rate go down by a full 2% over two years. Citi Forward also offers the chance to earn Thank You points redeemable for everything from merchandise to cash. You can earn 6,000 bonus points just for spending $50 on the card during the first six months. Elect to receive electronic statements, and Citi will add another 2,500 bonus points to your account. The Citi mtvU Platinum Select Visa Card is an ideal option for college students. It offers a 0% APR for on purchases for 7 months for those that qualify based on your application and credit history. With the mtvU card, you also earn 5 Thanks You Points for every $1 spent at restaurants, bookstores, record stores, movie theaters, and video rental stores and one Thanks You Point on all other purchases. You can even earn up to an extra 2,000 points every year for maintaining a good GPA. You can redeem points for gift cards, travel, electronics, music, and more, and there is no annual fee.

As with the Citi Forward card, the Citi Forward for College Students Card let’s card holders low their interest rate by up to 2% by using the card responsibly.
