There has been a lot going on in personal finance this week and here are some great things to check out:
- Alternative Non-Renewable Income: Selling Your Stuff @ I've Paid For This Twice Already. I've got to make sure my wife reads this!
- Plato: The Philosopher King @ The Financial Philosopher. Maybe it's because my degree is in philosophy, but the posts on this site about money and philosophy are always a joy to read.
- Young Money, the Personal Finance Magazine for College Students @ Get Rich Slowly. This magazine was new to me (probably because I no longer qualify as young), so I thought I'd pass it along.
- Money Saving Tip #9--Use Craigslist @ Gather Little By Little. If you haven't used Craigslist, check out this post. I even use Craigslist to advertise houses for rent. Oh, and it's free!
- The Dough Roller Retro: Inflations Bleak Prospects. . .in 1978. This is one of my favorites, and it underscores that we shouldn't get too comfortable with low interest rates and modest inflation--things can always change.
In addition, there have been several great carnivals posted this week that included some of my articles. Here they are:
- Personal Finance hosted by KMull
- Family Life hosted by My Two Boys
- Stocks hosted by College Analysts
- Frugality hosted by Stop the Ride!
Enjoy!
